School policies cover every aspect of school life. Below are some of our most important policies for your reference. If you want to know our policy on something that is not listed, please ask the school office.
The following policies guide the work of Midlands School
Getting the best from our students
Catch22 school exists to challenge, support and inspire our students, to achieve their academic and social potential.
Keeping our students safe
We provide a safe environment for our young people. Our strong grounding in Health and Safety provides a welcoming place for them to learn, and our relationship based approach provides an emotionally safe place for our young people to feel protected.
Equality and Diversity
Catch22 Midlands is determined to make all efforts to prevent discrimination or unfair treatment against, and promote equality of opportunity for, all members of staff, potential members of staff or students on the grounds of sex, race, gender, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, responsibilities for dependants, age, disability or offending background.
British values, spiritual, moral, social and cultural education
We believe that the teaching of British values, embedded in a curriculum which promotes the development of spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding helps children thrive. Catch22 Midlands seeks to develop the personal qualities valued in a civilised modern British society; for example, thoughtfulness, honesty, respect for difference, moral principles, independence, and self-respect.
